The Great North Woods Sleddog Challenge is open to all mushers 10 years and older. Mushers must
complete the entire race (all 3 stages) to qualify for awards and purse.

Thursday March 6:

8 PM - Virtual Musher Meeting (Mandatory for all registered mushers)
Friday March 7: - Pittsburg NH - Stage 1:
Events to be held at Pittsburg Ridge Runners Clubhouse unless otherwise noted
8 AM - Mushers Report to staging area
9 AM - Race Start
10 AM - Noon - Watch dogteams finish.
Noon - Lunch @ Clubhouse - Open to the public!
Saturday March 8 - Pittsburg NH - Stage 2:

8 AM - Mushers Report to staging area
9 AM - Race Start
10 AM - Noon - Watch dogteams finish.
Sunday March 9 - Colebrook NH Stage:
Events to be held at Coleman Estates at Coleman State Park unless otherwise noted
8:00 AM - Mushers Report to staging area
9 AM - Race Start
11 AM - noon - Watch dogteams finish.
1 Hour after last team finishes - Awards Ceremony @ Coleman Estates
10 Dog Stage Race
Dogs:
Mushers will be allowed to designate a pool of 14 dogs to choose their teams from during the race. The maximum team size each stage is 10 dogs, minimum team size each day is 6 dogs.
Mileage:
Leg 1: 23 miles
Leg 2: 23 miles
Leg 3: 18 miles
6 Dog Stage Race
Dogs:
Mushers will be allowed to designate a pool of 8 dogs to choose their teams from during the race. The maximum team size each stage is 6 dogs, minimum team size each day is 4 dogs.
Mileage:
Leg 1: 23 miles
Leg 2: 23 miles
Leg 3: 18 miles
Stage Race Purse: $3000 minimum
